F. Scott Fitzgerald

Long and content-rich autograph letter to Jimmy (James Rennie, the actor who played Gatsby in the Broadway production of The Great Gatsby). In January of 1926 Scott and Zelda were in a resort in the Pyrenees where they rented a villa at Juan-les-Pins from which this letter was written. Great content concerns "Brigham", an idea that Fitzgerald had for a play that he was considering writing at this time (July 17, 1926). Fitzgerald says, "I sobered up in Paris and spent three days trying to get Brigham into shape."
